DIRECTIONS:
From N1 North/South, turn onto William Nicol towards Monte Casino. Take the left off-ramp onto Witkoppen Road and get over immediately to your far right lane. Turn right onto Cedar Road and travel towards Dainfern (±3.5km) turn 1st left after Broadacres Shopping Center at Traffic Lights into 3rd Avenue. Drive a further ± 2km’s and cross over a river bridge. After ± 500m uphill turn 1st right onto Hood Road (a gravel road). Follow this road and keep right. You will find 2 guard towers. Coming out of the airport complex, follow the signs to Johannesburg. Start initially in the right hand lane. Soon you will be on the R24 highway. This road then joins the N12 (You do not take any turnoff) On the N12, get into the second or third lane from the left. You will then automatically take an offramp. As you go off to the left, the road immediately splits and you take the right fork. The road narrows to one lane and you go over the N3 highway. As you cross the highway, you go left and that takes you around and down onto the N3. You are now heading north. Stay on this road and ignore any turnoffs to Johannesburg or Pretoria. (The signs tell you that you are heading for Bloemfontein and Roodeport - that is what you want.) The N3 curves from north to west and becomes the N1 (also known as the Concrete Highway). Directions from Lanseria Airport From Airport Entrance Road turn left at 3-way stop onto R512. Turn left onto R552. At the stop street turn left, then immediately right onto Cedar Rd. Pass The Fern Shopping Centre (on your left), and at the next traffic light turn right into Third Ave. After approx. 2.5 km turn right into Hood Rd. (gravel road)
